About Organisations
Defense Heritage Society
The Defense Heritage Society (DHS) is a non-profit organization that serves as a platform for practitioners, researchers, and enthusiasts dedicated to preserving and advancing Indonesia’s defense heritage*.
Founded on August 17, 2018, by Dr. Jeanne Francoise—Indonesia’s first researcher in the field of Defense Heritage and the first woman to earn a doctoral degree in Defense from the Indonesian Defense University—DHS now brings together more than 200 practitioners/academicians from various regions across the country.
DHS envisions itself as a leading, credible, strategic, and modern international organization in promoting the study and preservation of defense heritage. To realize this vision, DHS actively promotes awareness and understanding of defense heritage among students, teachers, university lecturers, researchers, and relevant government officials.
In addition, DHS aspires to become a scientific reference center for studies on world defense history and Indonesia’s national defense history (1511–1949)—a period marking the nation’s long struggle against colonialism and its journey toward independence. DHS also contributes expertise to initiatives such as the establishment of the Indonesian Defense Museum in future.

* Defense Heritage encompasses historical objects, monuments, cultural heritage sites, memorials, traditional areas, old residences, houses of worship, and all locations that embody the historical narrative of a nation’s struggle against colonialism, its achievement of independence, and the defense of that independence (Francoise, 2021).

Fansmillennials Networks Consulting
Fansmillennials Networks began as Friday Night Sharing with Millennials—a series of Instagram Live discussions initiated by Acep Usman Abdullah in November 2021. Originally focused on youth development topics such as financial literacy, leadership, and health awareness, the initiative quickly grew into a vibrant platform for collaboration and community empowerment.
Born out of the spirit to share, connect, and collaborate, Fansmillennials evolved from a knowledge-sharing forum into a registered sole proprietorship offering mentorship, consulting, and strategic business partnerships.
By early 2025, the network had partnered with 10 organisations and businesses and mentored over 50 young professionals across fields such as public speaking, digital creativity, and business strategy. Today, Fansmillennials continues to expand its impact—bridging ideas, people, and opportunities to build sustainable growth and future-ready talent.
